The first match played in Italy since the coronavirus outbreak saw Juventus and AC Milan clash in Turin. Matthijs de Ligt started the clash for the hosts, but didn’t face Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was injured.
After 15 minutes, Juventus were awarded a penalty but Cristiano Ronaldo hit the post. Moments later, AC Milan were reduced to ten men for a late foul by Ante Rebic.
From that point, Juventus were clearly on top but they could not find the winning goal despite plenty of chances. De Ligt went close with a header as the Dutchman played the full 90 minutes.
The draw didn’t matter as Juventus progressed to the final, where they will meet Napoli or Inter Milan.
