According to Cadena SER, Matthijs de Ligt’s agent Mino Raiola has rejected Barcelona’s final offer and the Ajax defender supports that decision.

Barcelona were not giving up on the 19-year-old and made him a final offer a few weeks ago with president Josep Maria Bartomeu even getting involved. However, Raiola has said no to that offer and de Ligt is happy to follow his agent’s advice.
Barcelona had agreed a fee with Ajax for the defender but their offer to De Ligt is said to be lower than proposals made by PSG, Juventus and Bayern Munich.
Barcelona believe that De Ligt is making an economical choice rather than one over playing time because he wanted a higher wage offer than that Frenkie de Jong got.
PSG remains the favourite to sign the centre-back, who will not make a final decision until he returns from holiday.

Mina is horrible person. I hope this is rubbish I really don’t want to see him at PSG yes €12m a year is a lot but so is €7m from Barca who would be the better club for him.
I’d rather see him go to Man City bc Pep & bc they are set to lose 2 CBs & Laporte at LCB would be perfect for De Ligt & he is better then Stones plus Pep would develop him even better.
Based on manager other then Liverpool that would be the best place for him If not Barca. Not huge in Kovac & Sarri is at Juve who isn’t big on youth.
I like Tuchel as a manager but he doesn’t have control he wanted to play Rabiot the owners let the personal.issues get in way of playing one of their best mids.
But in the end PSG have the huge amount of money can pay Minas ridiculous 10m plus fee & huge wages tho they need CBs tbh I’d rather see him at Lille!
Inter over Juve tho they can’t afford.

Was hoping he go to Barca following the footsteps of other Ajax greats.
Personal preferences aside though,
you can’t help but feel he is being poorly advised.
The three clubs most suited to his skills and development are Barca, City and Bayern, yet it appears he will either go to PSG or Juve, neither of which really works in terms of best development and optimising his playing style.
These agents are leeches and the scourge of the game, right up there with the likes of Warner, Platini and African footballing despots.
Gutted he won’t be playing club football alongside Frenkie.
Surely money isn’t an issue at this level?
And had thought better of him in terms of ego.
