Mathijs de Ligt’s agent has confirmed that the defender will sign for Bayern Munich.

On Sunday evening the news broke that Juventus had accepted a bid of €70 million for the defender, which can rise to €80 million through bonuses.
On Monday, De Ligt’s agent Rafaela Pimenta told Sky Italia at the airport, “It will happen.
“We are very happy. Juventus has been very friendly. We can only thank directors Andrea Agnelli, Maurizio Arrivabene and Federico Cherubini. They handled it well.”
The 22-year-old will sign a deal in Munich until 2027 and will join his former Ajax teammates Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui.
