NAC Breda coach Robert Maaskant has confirmed the club have signed Demy de Zeeuw until the end of the season on a amateur contract.

The former Ajax and AZ midfielder has been a free agent since leaving Russian side Spartak Moscow last year, and even advertised his availability to clubs on linked in as he struggled to find a new club.
De Zeeuw seemed focused on a move abroad after a trial with American side New York Cosmos, but NAC boss Robert Maaskant confirmed after his side’s defeat to Vitesse that the 31-year-old had joined the Breda club.
De Zeeuw, who has 27 caps for Netherlands and played in the Word Cup semi final five years-ago, will join in NAC training on Monday.
