Lampard is set to depart the English Championship side to take over at Chelsea with the deal set to be concluded next week.
The Times is reporting that Phillip Cocu is Derby County’s “audacious target” to replace Lampard.
The former PSV Eindhoven boss has been out of work since being sacked by Fenerbahce early last season. At PSV, Cocu won three Eredivisie titles, one KNVB Cup and the Johan Cruijff Schaal twice.
It is not known whether Cocu would be open to taking over at Derby County.
Be interesting different then their last few bosses. But they have to give him time & some money bc their best players where on loan in Mount Wilson & Tomori etc
