Brentford have recalled Halil Dervisoglu from his loan with FC Twente after the winger failed to impress in Enschede.

Twente thought hard to bring Dervisoglu back to the Eredivisie last summer, beating off his former club Sparta Rotterdam.

However, the winger failed to make his mark in the nine appearances he made, mostly from the bench. Dervisoglu has now returned to English Championship side Brentford ahead of another loan deal.

Dervisoglu is the third loan player to leave FC Twente recently with Alexander Jeremejeff and Lazaros Lamprou also leaving.
