Ajax talent Sergino Dest has more time to decide his international future after he was left out of the U.S National team squad for their upcoming matches.

Dest played two friendly matches for the U.S last month but has since held talks with Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman as the KNVB attempt to tie him down to Oranje.
The talks seem to have had an impact on Dest as he has not been selected in the U.S squad for their upcoming Nations League games with Canada and Cuba
U.S coach Gregg Berhalter would not go into details on why Dest was not included during his press conference, “I understand that there is a lot of attention for the availability of Sergino in the coming international period.
“I have had conversations with Sergino. These conversations were positive, but the content of the conversations remains in the room.”
The decision may have been made to allow Dest more time to make his final decision. Netherlands squad and U21 squad will be confirmed on Friday.
