Dick Lukkien has been announced as the new manager of FC Emmen as of the start of the 2016/17 season.

Dick Lukkien is currently assistant manager to FC Groningen boss Erwin van de Looi, but he will take over as manager of FC Emmen at the end of the season and he has signed a two year deal.
Current interim manager of FC Emmen, Gert Heerkes, will remain in charge until the end of the season before the 43-year-old takes charge.
FC Emmen lost their previous league match away at league leaders Sparta Rotterdam last Friday but they currently sit 5th in the Jupiler League with 43 points after 30 matches and are involved in the race for promotion to the Eredivisie.
