Last week the English Championship side agreed a fee with Ajax to sign Dijks permanently, but after holding talks the left-back decided to reject the move.
At the time his agent said, “The trainer had a good story, but ultimately Mitchell still decided not to opt for Norwich City The feeling should be good hundred percent and it was not. a club like Norwich deserves no ninety percent. ”
However, it appears that Dijks has had a change of heart and has agreed to join Norwich on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old was first choice in Amsterdam at the start of the season but has lost his place recently to Daley Sinkgraven which may be behind his decision to move to England.
No thanks, if we weren’t good enough a week ago the go somewhere more suitable.
Let’s face it, he would just rather not play than sit mid table in the Champions League, sign a contract and stay there for another year. Also, maybe he doesn’t feel he’s ready to commit to that yet and will try it out and maybe something permanent comes out of it. I’d rather commit to a team I knew was moving up!
