Norwich City originally tried to sign Dijks permanently from Ajax but despite a fee being agreed, the left-back turned down the move. However, only days later Dijks was a Norwich City player on loan until the end of the season.
Despite originally turning down a permanent deal, Dijks has told ITV that he could be open to remaining at Norwich past the end of the season.
He said, “It was a big step for me, my first time abroad.
“I wanted to see how it goes before I make the move. The feeling was really good, but it’s just a big decision.
“I’m also a family man, so that’s why I first want to be here for four months and then we’ll see.”
