The winger said last week that he was hoping for more minutes in Berlin or he may have to ponder his future in January.
On Friday, Dilrosun began on the bench, but at half-time the winger came on as Hertha Berlin looked to come back from 1-0 down.
With Union Berlin down to ten, Hertha quickly equalised in the second half through Peter Perkarik. Then Dilrosun showed himself with a good move to set up Krzysztof Piatek for the lead. The Polish striker then quickly sealed the win.
The assist will be a relief for Dilrosun who is hoping to prove himself to the club in order to gain his spot in the starting eleven and make an impression ahead of Euro 2020.
