The winger left Ajax for Manchester City at the age of 16, and is now playing for Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin. The 19-year-old has been a substitute for the club since the German league resumed, and recently said he was open to a loan move away.
Asked by AT5 if he is open to a move back to Ajax like Quincy Promes, Dilrosun said, “Yes, it is just possible.
“Everything is possible. I certainly don’t say ‘no’ to Ajax. I have played there for a long time, so the club will always have a place in my heart.”
Dilrosun doesn’t regret leaving Ajax at a young age, “Of course I am from Amsterdam and grew up in the Netherlands. My mother did not agree with the choice that I left. She wanted me to stay with Ajax, but in my head I had already made the choice.”
The one-time Netherlands international has made 20 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, scoring three goals.
