Dordrecht’s terrible form continues as they were hammered 4-0 by FC Twente in a one sided affair.

twedor40The home side went into the game rock bottom after five losses in a row, and after only nine minutes they were behind against Twente as Hakim Ziyech raced onto a ball over the top before prodding past a stranded Filip Kurto.

On 19 minutes Twente made it 2-0 when Kurto failed to claim a cross and after a scramble Andreas Bjelland slammed into the empty net.

Five minutes later the match went from bad to horrific for Dordrecht, firstly Funso Ojo hooked the ball into his own net to make it 3-0 and then Ilias Haddad was shown red for a challenge on Luc Castaignos.

With an extra man Twente swarmed the Dordrecht goal and they added a fourth before the break as Youness Mokhtar jinked to the edge of the box before finding the bottom corner with a low strike.

The second half was a poor affair with all the damage being done in the first forty-five minutes, but Jesus Corona should have added a fifth goal late on, but he somehow couldn’t convert with the goal gaping.

Twente move back up to third with the win, while Dordrecht remain bottom and their goal difference takes another big hit, now -22.
