It is now eight games in a row without a win for Dordrecht as they were comfortably beaten 3-1 by Utrecht.

cid174101_Ruud_580x310Dordrecht may have won their opening match against Heerenveen, but since then their formed has crashed, and they now sit four points from safety after their third loss in a row.

Utrecht took the lead after only nine minutes when striker Ruud Boymans headed in Tommy Oar’s measured cross. It was 2-0 after 68 minutes when defender Josimir Lima deflected the ball into his own net.

Rick ten Voorde gave the home side hope with fifteen minutes left, but Utrecht killed the game off late on as Yassine Ayoub beat Filip Kurto with a free kick.

Dordrecht remain 2nd bottom, while Utrecht climb to 10th.
