After the Champions League exit to PSG, Borussia Dortmund bosses are considering Lucien Favre’s position. If he does not win the Bundesliga title, then the club may decide to sack the Swiss coach.
According to Sport BILD, Dortmund are now looking at their options and one of them is Ajax boss Erik ten Hag.
The Dutchman has a contract with Ajax until 2022 but his future has been the subject of much speculation. Bayern Munich have been constantly linked with Ten Hag, but they seem happy to stick with current coach Hansi Flick.
Dortmund are also considering Niko Kovac and Eintrach Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter. The club’s bosses want someone who can work with the club’s current tactics of three at the back, which may eventually rule out Ten Hag, who plays 4-3-3.
