Lerin Duarte has left Heracles Almelo to join Greek side Aris Saloniki.

The 28-year-old’s contract with Heracles was expiring this summer and he was offered a new deal. However, Duarte has decided to move abroad for the first time in his career.

Duarte has signed a three-year contract with Aris Saloniki, who finished fifth in the Greek Super League last season.

The midfielder played for Sparta Rotterdam, Ajax, SC Heerenveen and NAC Breda before joining Heracles in 2016.
