kiddThe 18 year old midfielder, who can also play at right back has starred in Celtic’s youth Champions League campaign, and caught the eye of a number of European sides.

Ajax, and FC Twente are two of these sides, and both will be looking to snap the youngster up with his contract set to run out in the summer.

Celtic are keen to tie their talent down to a new long term deal, but if no terms can be agreed, they may have to settle for a small fee in January for the Scotland U19 international.

English sides Sunderland and Aston Villa have also been impressed by Kidd, who is yet to make a first team appearance for Celtic, and will battle Twente, and Ajax in January.

A source close to the player told Sky Sports,  “Lewis’s situation is something numerous clubs will be actively looking at. He has performed well so far for Celtic this season and looks like he can go all the way.”
