A round-up of how all the Dutchmen playing in Europe’s biggest league’s fared over the weekend.

Kevin Strootman made himself a hero in Rome by netting the opener in Roma’s 2-0 win over local rivals Lazio. Ricardo Kishna came off the bench for Lazio late on while Wesley Hoedt was once again an unused substitute.

Jonathan De Guzman played the full 90 minutes of Chievo’s 0-0 draw with Genoa on Monday.

Ouasim Bouy was an unused substitute in Palermo’s 0-0 draw at Fiorentina.

English Premier League

Nathan Ake retained his place in the Bournemouth starting eleven for their tie with Liverpool on Sunday and the defender netted a 93rd-minute winner which completed a stunning comeback for his side. Georginio Wijnaldum played the full game for Liverpool, who were 3-1 up but ended up 4-3 losers.

Maarten Stekelenburg had a poor game in goal for Everton on Sunday but Ronald Koeman’s side netted a 90th minute penalty to earn a 1-1 draw with Manchester United. Daley Blind was an unused substitute while Memphis Depay was once again left out of the squad.

Bruno Martins Indi and Erik Pieters kept another clean sheet in the Stoke City back four as their side beat Burnley 2-0. However, Martins-Indi suffered a suspected broken jaw during the game.

Patrick van Aanholt played the full 90 minutes of Sunderland’s 2-1 win over Leicester City on Saturday and had a solid game.

Vincent Janssen wasn’t in the squad for Tottenham’s 5-0 win over Swansea City on Saturday. Leroy Fer and Mike van der Hoorn played the full game for Swansea, but had evenings to forget.

Virgil van Dijk couldn’t prevent Southampton from losing 3-0 away to Crystal Palace. Jordy Clasie was an unused substitute for the Saints.

Marten de Roon had a solid game on Monday night as Middlesbrough beat Hull City 1-0. The midfielder played the full ninety minutes.

German Bundesliga

Arjen Robben made his 150th Bundesliga appearance on Friday, and the winger showed why he is so important to Bayern Munich with a goal and an assist in the 3-1 win over Mainz.

Jeffrey Bruma was once again unable to prevent his side from defeat as Wolfsburg went down 3-2 at home to Hertha Berlin.

Paul Verhaegh played the full game as Augsburg drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Spanish La Liga

Ryan Babel was back in the Deportivo starting line-up on Monday and netted in a 5-1 win over Real Sociedad. The attacker missed a penalty but followed up on the rebound.

Ryan Donk played 70 minutes for Real Betis in their 3-3 draw at home to Celta Vigo.

Jasper Cillessen was an unused substitute in Barcelona’s 1-1 draw against Real Madrid.

French Ligue 1

Karim Rekik was an unused substitute in Marseille’s 3-0 win over Nancy.

Turkish Super Lig

Robin van Persie couldn’t break the deadlock as Dick Advocaat’s Fenerbahce were held 0-0 by Besiktas. Jeremain Lens came off the bench in the second half while Gregory van der Wiel was an unused substitute.

Wesley Sneijder bagged himself an assist as Galatasaray beat Kasimpasa 2-1. The midfielder set up Lukas Podolski to open the scoring in the ninth minute. Nigel de Jong also played the full ninety minutes for Jan Olde Riekerink’s side.

Adam Maher started Osmanlispor’s 2-1 win over Karabukspor but had a disappointing game and was substituted just after the hour mark.

Portuguese Premeira Liga

Bas Dost and Marvin Zeegelaar both played the 90 minutes as Sporting Lisbon beat Vitoria de Setubal 2-0 on Saturday.

Russian Premier League

Quincy Promes opened the scoring in Spartak Moscow’s 2-1 win over Rubin Kazan on Monday but was sent off before the end after being shown two yellow cards.

Lorenzo Ebecilio played 87 minutes of Anzhi’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal Tula.

English Championship

Vurnon Anita came off the bench for Newcastle United at half time on Friday but couldn’t prevent his side, who were down to nine men, from losing 2-1 at Nottingham Forest.

Glenn Loovens went off after only 37 minutes of Sheffield Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Preston.

Yanick Wildschut played the full ninety minutes but couldn’t stop Wigan from being defeated 1-0 at home to Derby.

Maikel Kieftenbeld had an evening to forget for Birmingham City who were beaten 3-0 at home to Barnsley. The midfielder lasted an hour before being substituted.

Rajiv van la Parra was back in the Huddersfield starting line-up on Saturday and impressed in the 1-1 draw at Blackburn. Marvin Emnes appeared off the bench for the Rovers but didn’t have much impact.

Jaap Stam’s Reading were hammered 5-0 away to Fulham after being reduced to ten men early in the second half. Roy Beerens and Joey van den Berg both featured for Reading.
