Netherlands U21 boss Remy Reijnierse has been forced to make eight changes to his provisional squad for the Toulon Tournament which kicks off later this month.

boetius net u21Reijnierse named his original squad last week, but with certain clubs participating in the end of season play-offs, and an injury to Utrecht midfielder Yassin Ayoub, the coach has been forced to make a number of changes.

With Feyenoord taking part in the play-offs for Europe, Anass Achahbar, Jean-Paul Boëtius, Wessel Dammers, Rick Karsdorp, Tonny Vilhena and Lucas Woudenberg have all pulled out, while De Graafschap are battling for promotion to the Eredivisie, meaning Hidde Jurjus has also become unavailable. Coming into the squad are Brahim Darri (Heracles Almelo), Thom Haye (AZ), Menno Heus (FC Utrecht), Elvio van Overbeek (PSV), Jaïro Riedewald (Ajax), Daley Sinkgraven (Ajax), Rai Vloet (PSV) and Django Warmerdam (Ajax).

The squad of 25 will meet on the 20th of May for training before Reijnierse whittles his selection down to 20 players. The tournament which will see Netherlands face France, USA, Qatar, and Costa Rica, begins on the 27th of May.

Defenders: Derrick Luckassen (AZ), Peet Bijen (FC Twente), Hans Hateboer (FC Groningen), Wesley Hoedt (AZ), Bas Kuipers (Excelsior), Jaïro Riedewald (Ajax), Kenny Tete (Ajax) en Jordy de Wijs (PSV).

Midfielders: Thom Haye (AZ), Clint Leemans (PSV), Joris van Overeem (FC Dordrecht), Daley Sinkgraven (Ajax), Rai Vloet (PSV), Danny Bakker (ADO Den Haag) Sean Klaiber (FC Dordrecht), Django Warmerdam (Ajax).

Attackers: Elvio van Overbeek (PSV), Brahim Darri (Heracles Almelo), Anwar El-Ghazi (Ajax), Vincent Janssen (Almere City FC), Ricardo Kishna (Ajax), Mohamed Rayhi (PSV)
