Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed the signing of PSV Eindhoven left-back Jetro Willems on a five-year deal.

The move to Germany was revealed earlier this week, but has now been made official with Eintracht Frankfurt paying PSV around €6 million excluding bonuses for the 23-year-old.

Willems had been with PSV since joining from Sparta Rotterdam in 2011, making 190 appearances for the club, scoring twelve goals.

The full-back had been waiting for a transfer since last summer, with the likes of Olympique Nice, Olympique Lyon, AS Monaco, AS Roma and Sevilla all linked. However, Willems will now represent Eintracht Frankfurt who finished 11th in the Bundesliga last season. He will be a teammate of Sebastien Haller, and Jonathan de Guzman, who both joined the club this summer.
