The experienced Mexican’s time in Eindhoven appears to be coming to an end, despite Guardado still having one year left on his current deal with PSV.
Reports in Mexico over the last few weeks have linked the 30-year-old with both a move to the MLS and Atletico Madrid. However, according to ESPN Mexico, Germany is also an option.
Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly keen on adding the veteran to their squad and could add the lure of European football, should they beat Borussia Dortmund in the cup final on Saturday night.
Guardado has been with PSV since initially joining on loan in 2014. He has made 98 appearances, scoring four times and adding 19 assists.
