Karim El Ahmadi will be a free agent this summer and is considering a return to the Eredivisie.

The 35-year-old will leave Saudi side Al Ittihad this summer and is considering a return to the Netherlands. He is thinking about ending his career at one of his former clubs, which would mean Feyenoord of FC Twente.

Speaking to FOX Sports, the midfielder said, “I have always said that I want to close at one of the clubs where I have already played. That would be the best, but the picture must be correct.”

On FC Twente and Feyenoord, El Ahmadi said, “I have always kept in touch with those two clubs, but that was more to talk about a career after football. I am always welcome there and those are nice gestures. Now I want to continue and we will see where. “
