Since the former Ajax winger joined the club, Lille have lost three games in a row but El Ghazi ensured that run ended on Saturday with a well-taken goal.
Lille had been reduced to ten men just after the hour but on 69 minutes, El Ghazi raced onto a great through ball by Yassine Bazia and slotted his finish into the bottom corner.
That goal was enough to claim a crucial three points which moved Lille up to 14th in the table.
