Emanuelson told Elf Voetbal,  “Ajax will always be my club, so I would never close that door. However, I do not know where my future lies. The World Cup is coming so many clubs will wait and see, so it is an exciting summer for me.”

“I’m a free agent and we’ll see if I stay here next year or move somewhere else to play.”

In four seasons at the San Siro, Emanuelson has made 105 appearances for the club, while also spending part of last season on loan with Premier League side Fulham.
