Emmen have confirmed the signing of German goalkeeper Matthias Hamrol on a two-year deal.

Emmen were on the lookout for a new goalkeeper after Kjell Scherpen decided to leave the club for Ajax.

They have now swooped for Matthias Hamrol, who joins the club on a free transfer after his contract expired with Korona Kielce. The 25-year-old signs a two-year deal with the option of a third.

Hamrol played with Köln, VfL Wolfsburg, RB Leipzig and the youth academy of Borussia Mönchengladbach before moving to Poland.
