FC Emmen have completed the signing of Kerim Frei on loan from Istanbul Basaksehir with an option to make it permanent.

The 26-year-old winger was a target for Emmen last winter but they could not complete the deal. However, they now have their man.

Frei has now moved to Emmen on loan from Istanbul Basaksehir until the end of the season. There is a clause to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

The forward has previously played for Fulham, Grasshopper, Besiktas and Birmingham City, while he was loaned to Maccabi Haifa last season.
