New England captain Wayne Rooney has told the media that colleague Raheem Sterling reminds him of Former Netherlands star Marc Overmars.

The Manchester United man went on to say that he showed Sterling videos of Overmars before the start of 2014 World cup.
This is what the 28 year old had to say ahead of England’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Switzerland,“Before the World Cup I showed him videos of Marc Overmars because he reminded me of him, He has the potential to be as good as Overmars.”
Overmars, Now director of football at Ajax had an excellent career at Arsenal, playing 100 league games and winning the Premier League title in 1997-98 season.
