Heracles Almelo haven’t won away from home this season, but only four minutes had gone before Wout Weghorst dove to head Mark-Jan Fledderus corner past Martin Hansen to give the visitors the lead.
ADO Den Haag pushed for an equaliser, which finally came four minutes before the break when Heracles keeper Bram Castro could only parry a cross straight at Mike van Duinen, who finished into an empty net.
Ten minutes into the second half Heracles retook the lead through Denni Avdic, who tapped into the net after a stunning effort from Brahim Darri struck the crossbar and fell at the strikers feet. Then in almost identical circumstances Heracles sealed the win, with Darri seeing another excellent strike hit woodwork before Bel Hassani nodded the rebound into the net.
Heracles climb above Go Ahead Eagles into 15th place, and sit only three points behind ADO Den Haag in 14th.
