Its been a good week for ADO Den Haag with the takeover of the club by a Chinese marketing company all but completed, and on the pitch they got off to a fantastic start against Cambuur with Mike van Duinen racing through the defence before slotting into the net after 26 seconds. The quickest goal of the season so far.
The home side looked confident after the goal, but with their first chance Cambuur leveled on 35 minutes. A corner was not cleared by ADO Den Haag and the ball eventually fell at the feet of Bartholomew Ogbeche, who made no mistake from close range.
Two minutes later Roland Alberg latched onto Dion Malone’s shot before blasting past Leonard Nienhuis to give ADO Den Haag a half time lead.
Early in the second half Van Duinen was put through one-on-one with Nienhuis, but the striker missed the opportunity to make it 3-1, and Cambuur made them pay as Ogbeche finished Marlon Pereira’s cross to earn the away side a point.
