Go Ahead Eagles remain 2nd bottom after a 2-0 defeat to in-form Vitesse in Deventer.

Seven wins from their last eight games have given Vitesse a big chance of a top four finish, and after only five minutes the Arnhem side were ahead in Deventer as a quick counter attack ended with Zakaria Labyad beating Mickey van der Hart.
Marnix Kolder missed a good chance to level the scores, but it was Vitesse who remained in control for the rest of the first half and they really should have went into the break more then one goal ahead. Denys Oliinyk shot into the side netting, while Betrand Traore spurned three guilt edged chances.
Finally in the 65th minute Vitesse doubled their lead with Van der Hart misjudging a shot from distance by Marko Vejinovic. The hosts could find no way back into the game, with the defeat leaving them rooted to second bottom in the table and two points from safety.
Vitesse climb above AZ into fourth temporarily, and sit four points behind third placed Feyenoord.
