They were once again unconvincing but Ajax found their first win in four games after an error from on loan goalkeeper Mickey van der Hart saw them beat Go Ahead Eagles 2-1 in Deventer.

The Amsterdam side were plunged into a crisis midweek when they were defeated by AZ Alkmaar which left them 12 points behind PSV in the title race, and a victory against Go Ahead Eagles was crucial if they had any chance of retaining their title.
Ajax got off to a good start and on 24 minutes Ricardo Kishna’s ball across goal was stabbed in by Anwar El Ghazi to break the clubs three game scoreless run and put them ahead at the break.
However Go Ahead Eagles recovered in the second half and after Jeffrey Rijsdijk and Glynor Plet passed up good opportunities Sjoerd Overgoor finally equalised for the hosts fifteen minutes from time with an excellent shot from distance.
It seemed Ajax were once again going to drop points, but a huge error from goalkeeper Mickey van der Hart, who is on loan at Go Ahead from Ajax, two minutes before the end handed the visitors victory. A routine backpass by Wesley Verhoek posed no problem for the goalkeeper, but he inexplicably allowed the ball to roll under his foot and into the net.
Ajax remain five points ahead of Feyenoord in the race for 2nd, while Go Ahead sit one place above the drop zone in 15th.
