A 94th minute goal from Xander Houtkoop earned ADO Den Haag a 1-1 draw at the Euroborg against Groningen.

The home side went into the game on the back of four straight games without a win, and they struggled to take control in a first half which saw only ADO Den Haag striker Mike van Duinen have a chance, but his shot was straight at Sergio Padt.
Five minutes after the break Groningen were awarded a penalty for a foul by Vito Wormgoor on Tjarron Chery, but Martin Hansen kept out Nick van der Velden’s weak effort. However referee Jeroen Manschot once again pointed to the spot two minutes later for a handball, and this time Chery made no mistake from the spot to put Groningen ahead.
Groningen then looked to see out the match, but in the fourth minute of injury time Xander Houtkoop sent a low strike past a despairing Padt to earn his side a point.
The point sees Groningen stay 11th and ADO Den Haag sit 14th.
