PEC Zwolle climb above Feyenoord into third place after a 4-0 win over bottom side Dordrecht.

As expected PEC Zwolle, who were without Tomas Necid who rejoined on Monday, dominated from the start, but it took until the 43rd minute for them to take the lead with Stef Nijland continuing his fine form by slotting into an empty net after Sheraldo Becker’s shot was saved.
After the break PEC Zwolle continued to create chances, but Becker, Jesper Drost and Nijland all passed up good opportunities and they were nearly punished by Dordrecht fifteen minutes from time, but Rick ten Voorde’s shot came back off the crossbar.
PEC Zwolle then sealed the win with three goals in the final ten minutes, firstly Becker burst through the Dordrecht defence before calmly slotting in the bottom corner, before Ben Rienstra curled into the top corner from the edge of the box. The final goal saw Becker provide the pass for Nijland to slot in from close range.
PEC Zwolle climb into third after Feyenoord’s defeat earlier, while Dordrecht’s run of two games without a loss is over and they remain adrift at the bottom.
