Vitesse Arnhem made it five wins in a row as they came from behind to beat PEC Zwolle 3-1 and move up to fifth.

vit pecThe two sides went into the game in contrasting form with Vitesse storming their way up the table, while PEC Zwolle have begun to slide after three straight defeats. However it was the away side that hit first after five minutes with Mustafa Saymak sending a diving header past Eloy Room from close range.

After that Vitesse went on the attack, and after 34 minutes Bertrand Traore sent a volley past Warner Hahn, who had earlier denied Zakaria Labyad, for the equaliser.

Just before the break Vitesse had the opportunity to take the lead from the penalty spot after a foul by Ben Rienstra, but the usually dependable Marko Vejinovic sent his spot kick over the bar.

After the break Bert van Hintum hit the bar for PEC Zwolle, but it was Vitesse who found the winner when Davy Propper, on his 125th appearance, chipped Hahn excellently after racing into the box.

Vitesse climb above PEC Zwolle and into fifth and are right back in the fight for European football after a poor start to the season.
