Nick Marsman (Feyenoord)
Utrecht were the better team in Rotterdam on Sunday but they didn’t get the victory, mainly due to Marsman, who made six saves during the game. He may have conceded one but the Feyenoord stopper was excellent throughout.
Django Warmerdam (Utrecht)
Steven Berghuis was completely shut down on the wing by Warmerdam during Utrecht’s 1-1 draw with Feyenoord at the weekend. A great display by the left-back, who also contributed to the attack.
Enzo Cornelisse (Vitesse Arnhem)
The 17-year-old made his first Eredivisie start on Sunday and didn’t look out of place in the Vitesse Arnhem defence as they defeated Fortuna Sittard 2-0. Plenty more to come from the young talent.
Perr Schuurs (Ajax)
Ajax eased to a 5-0 win over Emmen with Erik ten Hag’s side dominant at the back and up front. Schuurs was excellent at the back and also contributed going forward with his passing ability. The 21-year-old created 2 chances and finished the game with 91.1% pass accuracy.
Teun Koopmeiners (AZ Alkmaar)
The AZ Alkmaar captain was once again the star for his side in their 2-1 win over Heracles. He scored the opener from the spot before setting up Boadu to seal the victory.
Davy Klaassen (Ajax)
A completely dominant display in the midfield by Klaassen, who contributed a goal and an assist in the 5-0 win at Emmen. 95.2% pass accuracy, four chances created and three interceptions. A wonderful performance.
Joey Veerman (Heerenveen)
Heerenveen may have dropped points against ADO Den Haag but Joey Veerman was back to his best in the midfield. He was the driving force in the middle and scored the goal in a 1-1 draw.
Oussama Tannane (Vitesse Arnhem)
The main man for Vitesse again, providing both assists in the 2-0 win over Fortuna Sittard. He created four chances, completed seven dribbles and took five shots. He is the architect of the Vitesse attack.
Ola John (RKC)
Returned to haunt his former side as RKC Waalwijk ran out 2-0 winners at FC Twente. John was excellent in the game and provided two assists.
Finn Stokkers (RKC)
Led the RKC Waalwijk line well against Twente on Friday evening and scored in the 2-0 victory. It was his only effort in the game, but he worked hard throughout, winning 5 aerial duels, completing two dribbles and creating one chance.
Myron Boadu (AZ Alkmaar)
Back in the AZ starting elven for the first time in a month, Boadu hit the bar, won a penalty and scored AZ’s second goal of the game in a 2-1 win at Heracles. One of his finest performances of the season and he is getting back to his best.
