Round 12 of the Eredivisie takes place this weekend and there are a few interesting matches to look forward to. The league table is incredibly tight at the moment with just 4 points separating first and eleventh place so hopefully we are in for another entertaining weekend. Sam Robertson takes a look at the betting and offers his tips for this week’s matches. All prices provided by Bet 365.

aja v vitRKC Waalwijk vs NAC

Friday night’s game sees in-form NAC travel to RKC who are now rooted to the bottom of the table. NAC go in to the game on an impressive run of form and are just 4 points off the top of the table in 11th place. Last week saw NAC hammer Go Ahead Eagles 5-0 while RKC picked up a point with a 0-0 draw away to Ajax. This is a big game for both sides but it doesn’t look like there will be many goals in it.

Match goals: Under 2.5 – 11/10

Ajax vs Vitesse

Ajax go in to this game on a poor run of form. They look like a lost team without Christian Eriksen and they are struggling to score goals. However, they still occupy 2nd place in the table and will have the chance to go top with a win in this game. Vitesse have been impressive this season and aren’t far behind Ajax in 6th place. This will be a close game but I think Vitesse have a good chance of getting a result.

Match result: Draw or Vitesse – 3/1

AZ Alkmaar vs ADO Den Haag

AZ are another team in that cluster at the top of the table and they have a good chance to move towards top spot with a win against Den Haag. The visitors have been pretty poor this season but a win against Twente last week moved them up to 16th. AZ hve been a good team at home this season and I think they should be able to see off Den Haag comfortably.

Match result: AZ -2 – 11/5

FC Twente vs NEC

After 11 games of the season, NEC finally got their first league win of the season last week. League leaders Twente suffered a shock defeat at Den Haag last week and will be looking to get back on track with a win against NEC. I would normally say Twente should win this comfortably but after last week’s results it could be a very tight game. However, I do think this game will be full of goals.

Match goals: Over 4.5 goals – 2/1

PSV vs PEC Zwolle

It’s been a mixed season for these two teams so far. PEC Zwolle were flying high at the top of the table with 4 wins from their first 4 games but they have been in poor form recently but are still up in 5th place. I don’t even know where to start with PSV. They started the season well but recently they’ve been shocking. They are desperately missing Karim Rekik in defence and the sooner he returns, the better. This is a tough game to call so I will sit on the fence and go for a draw.

Match result: Draw – 4/1

Groningen vs Roda JC

The first of Sunday’s games sees 7th placed Groningen host 9th placed Roda. Groningen drew with Vitesse last week while Roda picked up an impressive win at home to PSV. Both sides have failed to get a decent run of form going and will be looking to start a run with victory in this game. It’s another difficult one to predict but I think there will be plenty goals.

Match goals: Over 3.5 -5/4

Cambuur vs Feyenoord

Cambuur head in to this one after a 3-1 against Utrecht last week while Feyenoord suffered a disappointing loss at home to Heracles. Feyenoord will also be without top scorer Graziano Pelle after he was sent off in the loss. I think this will be a close match with few goals.

Match result: Draw – 13/5

Go Ahead Eagles vs Heracles

Both teams aren’t doing too well this season but Heracles may have turned a corner after their win at Feyenoord last week. Go Ahead have slipped down to 13th after a crushing 5-0 defeat to NAC last week. This is a game I struggle to see many goals being scored in.

Match goals: Under 2.5 – 17/10

Utrecht vs Heerenveen

The final match of the weekend may just be the most entertaining. Both teams have been amongst the goals this season and this is a game which should produce plenty. Both sides lost out last weekend and will be looking to get back on track. Heerenveen have slipped down to 10th place while Utrecht lie in 15th.

Match goals: Over 3.5 – Evens
