Benjamin van Leer: The Roda JC goalkeeper was excellent once again for his club as they held PEC Zwolle to a 0-0 draw on Saturday evening.
Denzel Dumfries: The right back received his first call-up to the Dutch U21 side on Friday and he marked it with a fine performance against Heerenveen as Sparta came out on top 3-1. Dumfries was faultless at the back and made several good runs forward to join the attack.
Tom Beugelsdijk: The big centre back marked his 100th Eredivisie appearance for ADO Den Haag with a goal and a clean sheet in their 1-0 win over Willem II.
Hector Moreno: PSV needed a hero after falling 1-0 down to Twente and up stepped Moreno who equalised to earn his side a point. The Mexican was also commanding at the back with five aerials won, four clearances and two interceptions.
Ridgeciano Haps: The left back was in fine form for AZ Alkmaar throughout their 2-2 draw with Ajax on Sunday. Bullied Bertrand Traore off the ball on several occasions and played a part in the first goal of the game. Should be earning a Netherlands call-up on this form.
Yassin Ayoub: The pint sized midfielder was in fine form on Sunday as his side earned a 2-1 win over Excelsior. Ayoub opened the scoring early in the second half whilst also controlling most of Utrecht’s play with five key passes.
Kenny Teijsse: The midfielder had a massive impact off the bench for Go Ahead Eagles in their shock 1-0 win over Feyenoord. Teijsse was a colossus for the home side as he made 11 clearances and won 8 aerial chances to make sure his team held on for victory.
Alireza Jahanbakhsh: The right winger was a constant thorn in Ajax’s side on Sunday and assisted the Weghorst equaliser to make it 2-2 late in the game. Jahanbakhsh constantly got the better of Daley Sinkgraven throughout the game.
Craig Goodwin: The Australian winger sealed Sparta’s 3-1 win over Heerenveen with a free-kick in the second half while he also set up Zakaria El Azzouzi in the first with a fine dribble and cross.
Wout Weghorst: A constant threat against Ajax on Sunday with his strength, the striker got himself on the scoresheet twice to earn a 2-2 draw.
