The Eredivisie season continues this weekend with round 16 taking place. Sam Robertson takes a look at the betting and offers his tips for each of this week’s matches. All prices provided by Bet 365.

FC Utrecht vs NEC
Friday night’s game sees bottom side NEC host 9th placed Utrecht. The hosts picked up a vital win last week at home to AZ while Utrecht won away to Heracles. This should be a decent match with NEC having the chance to momentarily come off the foot of the table and Utrecht looking to continue their good form.
Match result: Utrecht – 10/11
Ajax vs NAC
Ajax have been excellent recently and find themselves in 2nd after a string of good results. NAC aren’t doing too badly themselves in 11th. Ajax will be looking to keep the pressure on Vitesse with a win here and I expect them to do so.
Match result: Ajax (-1) – 4/7
AZ Alkmaar vs FC Twente
This should be a brilliant game between two sides looking to get back on track after a wobbly month of November. Twente lost slip on first place and now find themselves three points off the pace but are still in 3rd. AZ have dropped down to 6th after some poor results. This should be a great match and I’m expecting lots of goals.
Match goals: Over 3.5 – 6/4
RKC Waalwijk vs Cambuur
RKC find themselves in a little bit of trouble down in 17th and will be looking to take three points in this game to try and relieve some pressure. They face a Cambuur side in 14th and are in a bit of trouble themselves with just 3 points separating them and bottom side NEC. This is a tough one to call and I can’t separate these sides.
Match result: Draw – 12/5
PSV vs Vitesse
Things can’t get much worse for PSV at the moment so it might be a good thing they are playing the league’s best team. It gives them an opportunity to get a result and get somewhat back on track. Vitesse look pretty much unstoppable at the moment and will be very hard to beat.
Match result: Draw or Vitesse – 10/11
Heerenveen vs Feyenoord
Sunday’s action kicks off with what should be a cracking match. Heerenveen have moved back up in to 7th after a poor run of form while Feyenoord continue to rise up the table and are in 4th after last week’s win against PSV. This should be a very entertaining match with plenty of goals.
Match goals: Over 3.5 – 6/5
Groningen vs Den Haag
Both of these sides have been fairly inconsistent this season and it’s difficult to predict the outcome of this match. Groningen lie in 5th after a draw last week while Den Haag continue to linger near the bottom of the table after a crushing defeat at home to Ajax. I expect Groningen to win this one and I have a feeling they will win comfortably.
Match result: Groningen (-1) – 5/4
Go Ahead Eagles vs PEC Zwolle
Go Ahead are another team who have been very unpredictable this season and they find themselves in 13th. Zwolle continue to sit in the top half but are slowly moving down the table after they were held at home to RKC last week. I don’t expect many goals from this one and I wouldn’t be surprised at a 0-0 draw either.
Match goals: Under 2.5 – 6/5
Roda JC vs Heracles
Roda went through a spell of excellent results last month but they’ve recently fallen back in to the bottom half after dome poor results. Heracles are also struggling a bit at the moment in 15th, just 3 points ahead of NEC at the bottom. Despite their poor form recently, I expect the home side to win this one.
Match result: Roda JC – 19/20
