boetius sBoetius hasn’t played since April last year, after suffering a knee injury, but came on for the last half hour of Feyenoord’s match against NEC Nijmegen on Sunday.

With the score at 1-1, Boetius entered for Ruben Schaken, and after only seven minutes, he had netted his first goal of the season, finishing perfectly after being put through one on one by Lex Immers.

However NEC Nijmegen rallied, and scored twice to make it 3-2 to the home side, and it seemed they were going to win their first game of the season, as the clock it 90 minutes.

However Boetius had other ideas, and the winger planted a perfect ball into the NEC box, which eventually saw left back Bruno Martins-indi fire into the net to earn Feyenoord a 3-3 draw.

Feyenoord have been missing a creative spark all season, and in a 30 minute display, Boetius showed that he may be the man to turn the Rotterdam side into title challengers. Full of tricks, pace, and creativity Boetius is the player to watch this season in Rotterdam.
