The fund already has money from UEFA (4.2 million), the KNVB (5 million), ING (5 million) and the players of the Dutch national team (1 million).
The top four Eredivisie clubs have been in talks over their contributions for weeks, and according to Chris Woerts on Veronica Inside, an agreement has now been reached.
Ajax will pay €3 million, while PSV Eindhoven, Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar each contributes €500,000. Woerts added on Ajax adding the most, “It is a very generous gesture from Ajax. They see that they are the largest club and have the most money in the bank. Actually, Ajax is one of the largest sponsors of the Eredivisie.”
