The 21-year-0ld Dutchman was seen as a bright young talent in the Twente youth ranks before moving to join Martin Jol’s Fulham in 2013, despite reported interest from Ajax. However David has failed to make an impression for the English side.
David made five appearances for the Championship side this season before the sacking of coach Felix Magath, and since then the former Netherlands U19 international has failed to impress new boss Kit Symons.
Dordrecht, Cambuur and former club Twente are all monitoring the situation in the hope that they can grab the young talent on a free transfer, while there is also interest from other foreign clubs according to VI.
