Ten Hag lamented the referee decision’s to allow Heerenveen’s equaliser with the Utrecht coach believing his goalkeeper Robbin Ruiter was fouled in the build-up.
He said, ”There is nothing unclear about the equalizer it should not have stood because it is quiet clear that Robin Ruiter’s hand gets pulled back by Jerry st Juste ”
”I think all in all we played a decent game although we certainly did not start well and rightly deserved 3 points but we did not get them ”
”I thought we reacted well to going 1-0 down and then we went on to control and dominate the game until the corner which lead to their goal . This draw feels like a defeat but we have our 1st point of the season ”
Utrecht are still looking for their first win of the season after the draw having lost their opening tie to PSV Eindhoven.
