A meeting of the European Football Association on Tuesday will discuss the possibility of the Euro’s still taking place this summer despite the corona virus outbreak.
However, it is very likely that the tournament will be moved, with the summer of 2021 thought to be the most likely new date. However, the Telegraph is reporting that UEFA will also discuss the possibility of holding it in December.
Moving the tournament to December would allow the Nations League finals to still take place next summer and would avoid a clash with the Women’s European Championships.
The domestic football calendar would have to be extended until the summer, but this is already happening in 2022 with the World Cup to take place in the winter.
