Ajax and PSV Eindhoven were both seeded for the draw and avoided the biggest sides such as Manchester United, Arsenal and Napoli.
However, Ajax will have a tough tie after being drawn against French side Lille, who currently sit top of Ligue 1. Sven Botman will line-up for Lille and returns to the club that sold him in the summer.
PSV will have another trip to Greece after drawing Olympiacos, who have Bruma on loan from the Eindhoven club. Olympiacos are currently unbeaten in their league and sit top of the table.
Both Dutch sides will play the away leg first.
Tough draw: Lille is a very good team and Olympiacos has a long experience.
Eredivisie sunk so low that participating is already considered as a success.
Ajax once whispered in the same breath as Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, now facing a tough battle against Lille in Europa League after kicked out of champions league by Atalanta.
