PSV

PSV were seeded in pot 2 for the draw, meaning they could avoid the likes of Germans Eintracht Frankfurt and Russians Krasnodar.

Group D: Sporting Lisbon (Portugal), PSV (Netherlands), Rosenborg (Norway), LASK (Austria)

Feyenoord

Feyenoord sat in pot 3, and drew a tasty-looking group including Rangers.

Group G: Porto (Portugal), BSC Young Boys (Switzerland), Feyenoord (Netherlands), Rangers (Scotland)

AZ

AZ Alkmaar, having qualified thanks to an extra-time win over Royal Antwerp, were seeded down in pot 4, meaning they were always likely to face tough opponents in the draw. However, they pulled out some favourable opponents and a big couple of games with Manchester United.

Group L: Manchester United (England), Astana (Kazakhstan), Partizan Belgrade (Serbia), AZ Alkmaar (Netherlands)
