PSV Eindhoven is in Norway on Thursday for a clash with Bodo/Glimt. Kick-off is at 20:00.

PSV Eindhoven are safely through to the next round thanks to their win over Arsenal last week but they still have a slender chance of topping the group. They need to beat Bodo/Glimt and hope that Arsenal lost at home to FC Zurich.

Earlier in the group, PSV drew 1-1 at home to the Norwegians, who will qualify for the Europa Conference League if they better FC Zurich’s result.

PSV warmed up for the clash with a convincing 3-0 victory against NEC Nijmegen, while Bodo/Glimt lost 3-2 against Rosenborg.

Can PSV warm up for Ajax with a win?

PSV have a huge league game at the weekend in Amsterdam and Van Nistelrooy may decide to rest some players with progression already sealed.

Bodo/Glimt are a good side and they troubled PSV in Eindhoven earlier in the group. A loss doesn’t matter much for PSV but a win could be confidence-boosting ahead of the Ajax match.

Some younger players could be given a chance to impress, but avoiding injury will be the main concern for PSV.
