UEFA have confirmed that this summer’s European Championships have been postponed and moved to the summer of 2021.

On Tuesday, there was a meeting of the 55 member countries where the proposal of moving the Euro’s to 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic, was accepted.
The tournament will now take place between the 11th of June to the 11th of July next year over twelve countries. This will allow countries to complete their domestic leagues, while the Champions League final has also been moved to the end of June.
In a statement, UEFA chairman Aleksander Ceferi said, “The details will be worked out in the coming weeks, but this is a big step forward.”
Ceferin also stated that UEFA has provided a whole range of options so that the domestic competitions can be safely completed this season. However, it is still unclear when the European Championship playoffs will be completed.
