koeman soaiKoeman has been linked with Everton since Roberto Martinez was sacked at the end of the season, and reports in the Netherlands claimed it was a done deal last week.

The BBC are now reporting that the deal is close to being confirmed after Everton agreed to pay Southampton £5 million to release Koeman from his contract.

Koeman is currently on holiday, but is believed to have already agreed personal terms with Everton, and it’s only a matter of time before the Liverpool-based club announce their new coach.

Koeman, who leaves Southampton after two years in charge, will take his brother Erwin and fitness coach Jan Kluitenberg with him to Goodison Park.
