According to a report in England, Everton are interested in signing AZ Alkmaar captain Teun Koopmeiners.

The Premier League side want to add fresh legs to their midfield this summer with Gylfi Sigurdsson and Morgan Schneiderlin on their way out.

According to The Sun, Everton have set their sights on Koopmeiners, who they believe would cost £12 million.

Koopmeiners has a contract with AZ until 2023 and has previously been linked with AC Milan. The midfielder was named in the provisional Netherlands squad for the first time before the corona virus ended football over a month ago.
