Faber said, ”It is a disappointing result tonight as I thought we played quite well.

”I saw improvements in the team tonight in terms of the way we played. We were aggressive and the players showed a togetherness too.

”There was a good team spirit and that should give us confidence for the coming weeks.

”I believe that we will turn things around we showed drive and ambition tonight. Also there is still good interaction between the backroom staff and the players in order to improve things.

”I believe that after the international break that I will remain FC Groningen manager.”
